Congratulations to the boy who made me a mom!
Logan is a varsity wrestler at Pedro Menendez High. He enjoys training jiu-jitsu and restoring his Chrysler 300. He studied a combination of IB and Cambridge classes, started the St. Johns County Teenage Republicans and was awarded the Florida Teenage Republicans Outstanding Teen of the Year Award. In his senior year, he was a member of Menendez Men and started a car club with fellow car enthusiast friends.
Those of us who know Logan know that he has been fascinated with weather, (thunderstorms specifically), since he was a baby. As he got older he would jump on his bike to ride around the neighborhood capturing photos of incoming shelf clouds and lightning. He intercepted his first tornado in Elkton, Fl in 2019 which was a lifelong dream come true. He is planning to attend a local college and is looking at Embry Riddle for a meteorology degree. He is sure to keep you up to date on weather in our area, especially during hurricane season and he just happens to have an eye for taking beautiful weather photos. I like to think he gets it from me.
