I had the pleasure of spending an evening with Terina Kelso. Terina is a gospel recording artist whose single, "I Made It", debuts in late spring 2017.
Terina Kelso was born and raised in Oakland, CA. She began singing at the age of 7 with her youth choir at Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ where her father, The Late Bishop L.B. Johnson, was pastor. At just 10 years old, she knew God had something special for her life. Since 2012, Terina has been involved in many radio and television projects. She has been blessed with six children, six grandchildren and considers her most important job as wife to her husband, Alan. Alan Kelso is a pastor and President at Kelso Ministries, in which Terina is an integral part. She wears many hats, assisting in social media management, is the Secretary-Treasurer and Executive of Advertising. She also manages KMI Publishing.
"There have been many valleys where I easily could have thrown my arms up in defeat and allowed discouragement and depression to overcome me, settling for the agony it brings. I've not been beaten, because I simply will not accept it." , Terina says. Her light shines from within and her talent and passion are undeniable when you hear her sing. She hopes to inspire others through her music and help them to be encouraged and to see their potential.
